Pistol Level 2
Intermediate Fundamentals and Technique
6 hour group class
$350 / person, non-refundable.
Skill level - Advanced
This class is for experienced shooters who are comfortable handling a firearm and are looking to improve their pistol skill set beyond the basics.
Class description:
We will begin class refining the fundamentals (grip, stance, draw cycle, and reloads) progressing forward into shooting strings of fire, focusing on speed, accuracy and handling, continuing into movement, engaging multiple targets at varying distances while moving, and ending the class with shooting multiple courses of fire, (or stages as competition shooters would call them.)
We will be moving through the curriculum at a rate that is sufficient to accomplish all of the techniques we are setting out to develop; please note that the culmination of our training will result to shooting multiple courses of fire that include movement, engaging multiple targets, while reloading and shooting while moving around objects, all advanced techniques.
If you are a new shooter do not book this class. If you are found to not be confident or competent enough to be in this group and perform the basic skills safely, you will be asked to leave with no refund. Basic pistol handling and safety is a requirement, if you think you need to develop more of a foundation, consider taking the Pistol 1 Class instead.
Students will complete this class having a clear understanding and ability to perform proper:
Refined Grip, Stance, Draw Cycle, and Reloads
Multiple target engagement
Movement with a firearm (both explosive and non-explosive)
Spacial Awareness
Target engagement in various shooting positions
Target engagement from around objects
Confidence in handling their firearm in dynamic situations
As well as develop the proper mindset needed to effectively learn a new skill set
