Intro to Personal Safety

Class description:

This seminar is for the man, woman, and child who wants become safer immediately. Rooted in the psychology of understanding yourself and your potential attacker, as well as understanding the strategy and implementation of distance and time, you will realize after this course that you have many options to be safer and more fortified within the world immediately.

In this course we do not do any hand-to-hand combative training, or anything hands on for that matter, we do discuss the various kinds of trainings that would be great to begin partaking in, however this course is to lay down a foundation of the many assets that are apart of daily life and interactions and how to use them to set up boundaries and implement safety plans.

This class is a strategy based class where we will discuss:

• Situational Awareness

• Self Awareness

• Operating Procedures for Inside & Outside the Home

• How to Devise and Maintain a Personal Safety Plan in Various Environments

• How to Make Yourself Less of a Target

• How to Fortify Your Home

• Understanding Potential Attackers and How They Operate

• Trusting Yourself and Your Instincts

• Tools to help you be safer

• How to Deescalate a Situation

• How to Avoid an Unsafe Situation Before It Begins

  Our goal for this class is to educate and edify you on the start of what will hopefully be a long a rewarding journey of making yourself safer. We want you to be confident in yourself, what you know, what you can do, and the choices you have.

This class is rooted in strategy and psychology. You will leave class with actionable information and immediately begin being more aware and able to keep yourself safer.

Setting, Location, Materials, and more:

This seminar is held in a classroom, we will be seated for a majority of class, but will have several breaks to move around and stretch.

Please bring a notebook/paper and a pen for note taking and readers if you require.

Location to class will be found in the scheduler, in your confirmation email once spot in class has been secured, and via text message.
