2-Gun: Pistol & Rifle
Level 2
6 hour group class
$450 / person non-refundable
Skill level: Advanced
Class description:
Labeled as an advanced course, this class is designed for shooters looking to further refine their skillset in the 2-Gun department and really tighten up their competition skills. This is arguably our most dynamic course that Struck Society offers, it is not for new or unconfident shooters. Students should already be drawing from a holster, engaging multiple targets, reloading effectively, and shooting their rifles from the prone, off hand, and kneeling positions in their training.
We will begin class with tuning up the fundamentals of pistol and rifle shooting, progressing forward into shooting strings of fire on both platforms and marrying the two, reviewing how to move with our firearms and develop the skill of shooting on the move while engaging multiple targets at varying distances. The culmination of this course will be spent shooting multiple stages of fire with both platforms implemented while moving, shooting around objects from various positions, and bringing all the skills together.
Students will complete this class having a clear understanding and ability to perform proper:
Safe Firearm handling of both pistol and rifle
Refined Grip
Stance
Marksmanship (accuracy)
Reloads on both platforms
Multiple target engagement
Moving quickly and effectively with the pistol and rifle
Shooting on the move
Engaging targets from various shooting positions
Multiple stage executions
Develop the proper mindset needed to effectively learn a new skill set
